Overview

The diameter of conductor is 1.4mm. It is composite shielded cable with PE insulation, composite sheath, steel tape armour, and PE outer-sheath. The rated voltage of cable is 600/1000V.

Structure

1)        Conductor

The conductor shall be solid circular and formed from plain annealed copper as per IEC 60228.

2)        Insulation

The insulation shall be PE.

3)        Cable core group

It consists of triple-core with extruded inner sheath. There are three colours: red, white, and blue for identification.

4)        Laying up

Inter-twist uniformly by triple sets and insulated single wire. The cable core groups shall be laid up with a right-hand direction. The interstices shall be filled with suitable non-hygroscopic fillers to give the completed cable with a substantial circular cross-section. A layer polyester tape shall be shall be applied around the cable cores.

5)        Screen

AL-Plastic laminated composite tape shall be sufficient to provide reduction factor not more than 0.3 with field strength of 100 V/Km.

6)        Bedding

The cable core shall be covered with extruded PE bedding which shall be formed tightly around the cable screen, which complies with requirement of IEC 60502.

7)        Armour

The armour shall consist of two layers of steel tape applied helically.

8)        Over-sheath

An over-sheath of single extrusion PE with termite-proof material shall be applied around the armour steel tapeas perIEC 60502.
