5Water Penetration Test

- Test temperature: room temperature

- Water tightness cap: L –style

- Water column: 1m

- Sample length: 3m

- Horizontal holding: 24 hours

- There shall be no any water penetrated in the end of cable.

6 Integrality of Sheath of Optical Fibre Cable

Both inner sheath and outer sheath shall withstand for one minute without breakdown the application of a test voltage 3500V r.m.50Hz.
